Why are you going with M3 springs??? I'd think that the touring would weigh too much for M3 springs. How much does it weigh???

The final price was $897 USD. I got them sent to my brother's work so I didn't get dinged with border charges. They're real nice looking and they come with the Alpina stickers, some other brand stickers (I guess the real wheel makers), and a couple abrahamsmotorsport stickers. They were packed really well too. It took only 6 days and I tracked it all the way with Fedex. Mel and Michael are really nice guys. They post on roadfly every so often.
As for the weight of the touring, I think the M3 springs can handle it. Some guys in the states modded their touring into a M3 one, they used a full M3 suspension.

Your car is going to look hot! Can't wait to get some time and see it one of these days.

I might if I have the time, at least to the next meet. It still needs a lot of work. I'm at the BMW parts counter every other day. Still need to get the tires, mount them and switch over the springs, work on the paintjob, work on the interior, upgrade the sound system (really important to me, miss my cd's) and a lot of TLC. Whew, I need a :drink:

Did you buy a set of 4 or 5? If you need a spare I can sell you one that has a tiny bit of rash or I'll trade it for the splitter if you want. I have 6 rims 5 with rubber and one without which is just taking up space and I don't need that one. When I got my rims they came with the Alpina logo already on the plastic hub cover and that's it... Be careful when you take the plastic center off, they chip easily... I asked for a couple extra's.

Doug, what tires are you thinkin' of running. I have almost used up my rear tires and was thinking of going with these next http://www.tiretrends.com/tire_info.php3?detailID=5430. We should do a poll of wheel/rims and see what everyone is running.

Yoko's or Kumho's. How do we set up a poll? Like to know what the general preference is as well. I'm trying to spend in the 180-200 region for tires, so strapped right now
