I hear you, my neighbour was unloading her car and put a box of crap on my trunk lid, then dragged it across the paint and ruined it. When I asked her about it, she admitted doing it and didn't even apologize. People are rude and self-centred, not to mention stupid.

Not true. It's like Vince said, people are just self centred.

My boss has a new 3 series and he is as crazy about it as anyone here. He left it at YVR overnight and some jackass pulled a suitcase down his roof and on his hood. It had less than 5000km on it at the time.

Anyway, No 1 Collision in Richmond made it right.

Hopefully you can just polish it out, some people are dicks and I guess the rest of us have to put up with it.

Mine was a victim of a drive-by paintballing yesterday night, luckily the shot hit the driver side window, minimal splatter on the rubber surround and random speckles on the hood and trunk for some reason.

More of a reason to give it a good polish this summer, heh.

i did take it off the road for the winter so ya more of an excuse to get it detailed when it goes back on the road next month

Whats funny is the general motoring public just dont care about their cars either not to mention anyone elses. Have you noticed the amount of cars with door dings, scrapes and wheels so covered in brake dust cleaning wouldnt do anything. When I get my 318is next week I will be back to doing what I did with my old one, parking away from people and trying only to parallel park when i can. No one seems to care when they open a door.

true, I plan on getting a paint job some day to remove all the dents on my car. I dunno what's worse though. Having to see all the existing dents and scratches now or seeing a dent/scratch after a brand new paint job.

I see it all the time. I really dislike the people who ride in your car and when the get out they just wing the dorr open into another persons car. I almost beat the guy twice over. Most people suck.
