Reminds me of the M3 one streaking across on the Ring.

I hate to sound negative, but I've never seen the point in drag racing.
well in drag racing bmw's...no i do it for fun. drga racing top fuel dragsters or done 9.0 sec mustangs and malibus....its also fun you will never launch that hard in any other car then a v8 with a solid rear axle. its the same as track racing....just for domestics.!

Haha, I guess I'd have to lengthen the swingarm first.

with the bone stock m10 engine and no experience I ran 17.9 at the end of that summer 16.1 still slow but it was fun.

I thought that it was a really red neck sport (like nascar) but after going and particiating, it turned out to be alot of fun. On my 3rd time down the track I beat a 10 second vw bug because he stalled it off the line. Man he was so pissed! I really like is that every time I bought something new for the car I have a real way of testing how much faster it makes the car. The butt dyno doesn't really work at all. I would like to race other old bmw's but I've never seen any out there. All that being said it's 20$ to go and have some fun on Friday so why not? P.S. lots of street bikes out there you should run yours no need to change the swingarm.
