I remember talking to someone on here a while back who wanted to do an S50 swap. Anyone who's interested in doing an engine swap I thought I'd let ya know there's an engine and drivetrain from a 99 M3 in the Buy&Sell. If you're mechanically inclined and know a deal about OBD I/II, this could be for you(or if you just have a lot of money to spend on labour)

*No Association with seller

That would definitely be a sweet mod, but only 5K? Isn't that too cheap?

the seller list no mileage on the engine. ooohhhhh I still want it bad, not my time yet though.

I'm now thinking screw the motor swap, just buy an M3 and avoid the hassle...

It's already out of hand, price that is... I've spent SO much money on my car, and another 10k isn't an option. If you guys new how much $$$$$ you'd shit. I'm doing my last mods tomorrow (famous last words) which is a LSD, & M3 rear sway... this weeks work is going to cost around 3k which I'd much rather save or use somewhere else. I can't do a motor swap anymore because it's just too much money. I'd rather just buy a slightly modified E36 M3 and leave it at that. The ONLY thing left I want to do is Euro ellipsoids once that's done it's finished. If I get bored of the car I'll just have to learn to be happy with what I have.

I wanted to ask is the new diff a custom ratio or did it come out of another bmw?

I'm not not even sure what ratio it is... The diff is from a E36 318ti, CG said it's a 4.44 but the etk lists it as a 4.45, I guess it'll be either one of the two.
