Anyone out there looking for some nice M cars?? My employer is currently selling 2 cars. Anyone desiring to know more and see pictures post a reply with your email address and ill contact you. Both cars are lcoated in Hawaii on the island of Oahu.

The E30 M3 is a lachsillber metallic on grey interior. My boss is the 2nd owner and for those who do not know is the owner of a BMW repair shop. The car has 50k miles on it. Basically it sits at our shop on a lift under a car cover, hes driven it like 50 miles in the last year and half. Everything to this car has been done. Inspection 2 with all synthetic fuilds yadda yadda. I have more on what was done but ill have to check at work. Mods include Evolution 2 front splitter, zimmerman cross drilled rotors with fresh stock pads all around, ATE super blue fluid, UUC adjustable short shift kit, and UUC pedals, and E39 M5 17 inch replica rims with fresh kumho tires (car comes with original 15 inch rims as well and the tires for the replicas have less than 60 miles on them) all installed by my employer, a certified BMW mechanic. He is asking $22,000 US. I have seen the car myself, pretty damn clean and the paint as well as everything else is original. Easily the nicest one on the island.

The second car is a black on grey M6 wiht 89,000 miles. Also an original owner, we recently picked up the car about 3 or 4 months ago. Not as pristine as the M3 but a nice car nonetheless. Car comes with a AT rims 5 spoke rims on kumho tires. Recent (within the last month), Inspection 2 was completed with all synthetic fluids. More maintenance was performed, I have the details with me at work. US $17,000 or best offer.

Sounds like a couple of sweet cars. There can't be that many M cars on the islands eh? How much would it cost to ship to the USA? <-- don't you hate that? ;) I mean ship to the mainland.

hey anthony,
yea, the cars are sweet... i wish i had the cash to buy that E30 M3, because i know ill have to go to the mainland to find one that i really like, i figure i have until 2008, cuz then they hit 20 and the appreciation factor will only get worse!

you can check out pictures at bmehawaii.com, then click on showroom.

i really dont hate not being "counted," as part of the USA.... in light of the recent events this past year and half, hawaii really is a place like no other....

as far as M3s are concerned i know of 10 on the island that I have seen personally, and i guess there are maybe 5 more.... out of the 10 i know of 6 of them are shitboxes, i mean so dilapidated it makes an E30 M3 enthusiast want to cry, :bigcry: especially when that enthusiast (me) does not currently have the financial means to own one. shipping to california is about $878 dollars US, give or take about 20 dollars. if you or anyone else have any other questions or are just curious about these vehicles dont hesitate to contact me

I just checked out your company's web site.

Under "Showroom" it says...

"This page is dedicated to those BMWs that have reached a collector status due to their rarity and elegance. Each car has been meticulously maintained to preserve its original showroom look and are in a way a time capsule to the past. Enjoy."

And then the cars are all modified. What gives?

Also, I saw a very similar car and the price is only $13,900. Do you know this car?

Aside from the E39 M5 replica rims, does the E30 M3 not look stock? It comes with the orginal rims as well, and its not a permanent mod. The evolution 2 splitter was and is a stock BMW part, the only "modifications," are a short shift kit, and UUC metal pedals. I would argue these mods enhance the overall character and look of the car, and besides, all these mods can be removed (reverting the car back to showroom stock), in less than half a day.
If you find an M3 that is mechanically up to par and looks this good for around $22k, I would love to hear about it. I've been looking for the last 4 years, in Roundel, Ebay and autotrader, and the only ones that appear to be truly exceptional is that buble car with 12k that went for $45,000 US, and the red one with 32k that recently went for $25,000 US. I am sure there are more exceptional models out there, but the possibility of finding one in good condition with 50k miles or less gets worse every year. I jsut hope by the time I graduate I can find one similar to this model for less than $25k

As far as the car with 58k for 13,900 yes I know it, and I wouldn't touch it.
The paint job on the car is not the best (nor good), quality, he just had it sprayed and it looks terrible. Furthermore he recently re-did select parts of the front and rear seats; not in leather but in some kind of cheap upholstery. The recent paint job and interior treatment make me question the validity of the mileage. I do not believe the seats and paint could suffer that much wear and tear with only 58k miles, even if parked in the sun (which he does).
Believe me, I want a E30 M3 more than anything, but until I have the financial means for a pristine example, my 325is will have to do.
