Installed H&R Race springs w/ Bilstein Sports with a buddy today. I helped where I could lend a hand :). He also put in the z3 shifter, much better than before! Rear shock mounts are E46 cabrio ones and reinforcement plates are some kind of gold metal ones the PO put in, thanks Rene! It's a good thing they were in there b/c I didn't have any.
The z3 short shifter also went in. Much better feel than before!
Gotta find some time to do the subframe bushings though as they are totally gone. I have some IE ones for that and trailing arm bushings as well.
Here are some pics freshly installed. Hasn't settled yet.

Oh you have a 325is! Must be very low on your car :). My car is brilliantrot :). Has yours settle much from when you first put it in? I'm hoping it'll come down a bit more but the 4 banger is lighter than the inline 6.

I haven't exactly measured it to know that it's settled more than when i first installed, but i believe it has.
Yep ive got a 325, its nice and low. When i was finishing up, and lowering the front end, the jack got stuck. It's one of the only times ive said "sweeeet" when being inconvenienced.

When I corner the car is very planted. It doesn't sway all that much. It's a bit bumpier than before but tolerable imo. The rear should be tighter in the back once the subframe bushings are replaced, so I'm told.

Hey, quit copying my car....just kidding, that thing is really coming together. Now you need some wheels and powder coat those calipers.

Where would you get them powder coated?

SOAB. I shoulda gone with the race springs when it came down to it. Oh well. Maybe soon i'll do the springs but the red looks hot. When i pulled my springs outta the box and they were plain old black sports I said, Hey, at least they're shiney. Nice car though, looks beautiful.

It's here. Showed up this morning at 9am. Should drop it 40mm front, and 30mm rear.
