pemberton motors on main and 23rd. Ask for Rudy or Carl. They usually specialize in VW and Porsche but they've worked on my family's BMW's for years. Tell them alex sent you.

Don't go to mario's on clark and stay away from bimmerhause on marine. If Alex says his shop is good I'd trust his judgement. I take mine to CG and Van. auto.

I've been to CG and they are great, the only downside is they are quite far from where I live and they are quite a bit more expensive than pemberton. But then again CG is one of the best BMW specialty shops in the lower mainland.

I agree too, they charge quite a bit but I understand they are good. I've gone to Nixen and I seem to like them so far.

I remember CG used to be cheaper years ago, but their prices seem to have gone up quite a bit over the last few years. They are one of the best though.

Nixon Automotive used to be owned by Ray Nixon. He has since retired and sold his shop. I'm not sure if the new owners changed the name or not.

Just resurrecting this thread... I'm looking for a shop to replace a control arm bushing - pretty easy job, I just don't have the time. Any recommendations (or re-recommendations) for a place near downtown Vancouver?
I've been happy with Nixon's work but they are pretty booked and a little far away.
Thanks.

Call the BMW store, they're not too costly and you know it'll be done right with good parts.

We use a little bit of Wurth silicone lube when we press them on. I have the bushings in stock, or a few minutes away if you need them.
