Was the owner just sitting there one day looking at his e21 and saying to himself, "Hmm, what about a spoiler on the front of the windshield? That would look hot!!!"

Kind of reminds me of one of those Jeepney taxis that they run in the Phillipines. Just a little over the top styling wise.
