I'm off to Austria tomorrow morning, I guess I'll see most of you Post July 1st. Adam, you better have that 3.0L done by my return! then we can set to work on my 2, or 2.1L Turbo depending on if i find my new crank or keep the one on my desk.

Whoa...I didn't realize you were heading-off for almost half a year though!
Enjoy your trip. Make sure you rent or borrow a car and drive some of those legendary roads scattered throughout the land. Send pics when you can too...

ok, well i just got unpacked and too my dorm. Its been 24 hours since i slept, and i have to go out to a welcome party in 3 hours that will go for about 6 hours long (4am here) so its going to be a rough start to the trip. but yes, i plan on visiting the bmw plant and hopefully renting a car and doing some driving if funds permit. If anyone is looking for something shoot me a pm.

The BMW tour is great, they only have english ones once a week so make sure you go on the right day. Don't forget a trip to the nurburgring. It's only about 1.5 hours out of munich.

whoops brain-typo, I meant that it was only 1.5 hours out of Cologne, maybe even a bit less. (expect if you did what I did and drive 2 hours in the wrong direction...haha)
