Last night I was headed out towards Coquitlam in the e30. Had the summers on with the formels. Things are great. ITs kind of rainy but I'm heading up towards the 91 connector just at the bottom of Nordel Hill. So I go over the over pass over the highway and all of a sudden all I can smell is diesel and the road in front of me is a complete rainbow of spilled fuel and the car just all of a sudden understeers like mad into the lane next to me. (To those unfamiliar with that over pass its curved and cambered). I managed to catch it. Back of the throttle and keep the car going striaght into a bit of a understeer plow and got some traction back and got back into my lane(Nobody else was around luckily or that could be really bad!). Merged onto the 91 connector and discovered that yeah diesel fuel will make your falken 512s really slippy. Nothing like barely touching the throttle going up and having the back end wanting to come around. I managed to cross the bridge and go down to Annacis island and "burn off" any of that residue.
Really surprised there wasn't a major accident out there last night. Driving on diesel is like driving on greasy ice!
