It says M535i, but it's an auto and has US headlights. I suppose it could be a Japanese import? I don't really know what to make of it. If anyone is interested, I'd be willing to go check it out and see what the real deal is...

Likely a Japanese M535 with the 5i option, which was a "style" offered on all 5s (520 - M535) with Blau Schwarz Metallic paint and Black Buffalo leather. Which would be sweet. I saw one before and it had that same incorrect badging, but it did have the proper shadowline tail-lights (rather than the chrome ones).
Good looking car, regardless. Oh, it IS Japanese. It has a Japanese-sized license plate holder.
Blake - this would make a real nice twin to the 6er!

I don't quite understand why they'd import this to Edmonton. There's not much of a market for e28s here compared to Vancouver and they tend to be overpriced here (although this one probably isn't).

I agree. Probably a mistake to import that car to Edmonton. I bet he'll have a tough time selling it.
