View Full Version : Al Larson - where's my stuff?
Al,
You sent me an email saying that 'Fraser' has my dash, headliner, etc. You did not provide any details on how I might contact him to retrieve said items, nor reply to my email on how that might happen. Since I entrusted you to do the work, and paid you, you could at least have the courtesy to return them personally, or, failing that, provide some more concrete details as to where they might be.
My car cannot be completed without these items, and they are holding me up...Can you do the right thing here and get them back, or is this going to go on forever?
Anyone else reading this have any insight?
Thanks,
Graham

Weeman he has every right to ask this in public. This is a community and we all deserve to know if someone is untrustworthy when it comes to sales (I am NOT saying that Al is). If you feel that this is inappropriate then talk to Anthony about setting up some kind of seller rating/feedback system to avoid this and still allow members to know if it is safe to deal with another. If someone attacks Al on a personal level then go ahead and defend him but you really need to stop trying to get in the middle of disputes between buyers and sellers unless you are one of them (no offense man).
The reason I am posting here is simply because Al does not return calls, emails or any other form of communication. Unfortunately I am down to this as the only way to recover the parts I need to complete a very expensive and time consuming restoration of an E9. 'Weeman' - if this bothers you, then maybe you can contact Al, and get him to return my stuff. Then - you would not have to hear about it. (Although given the man and his mystique, - if it ain't me looking for him, its gonna be someone else)

That's actually a very good idea.
^^
I actually think so too. I've been wanting to ask him to do it, but I haven't got around to sending him a PM. Someone want to post it up? As a poll?

I think I've read more than enough to actually have a pretty educated opinion.

Well that just shows your ignorance of some basic information. A) you cannot believe everything you read on the internet, and B) Estyanne is a certified sociopath.
Hey look! You just learned two useful facts today.

Sounds very believable, point made
and B) Estyanne is a certified sociopath.
Oops! That one undid the point.... or did it CONFIRM the point? Darn, this internet thing is sooooo complicated, I am just confused!
BTW, Al, if you are reading this you should respond to the OP and make sure he gets his stuff. Anything less is.. well... not dignified and how can you live with that?
Cheers, Bob

Why a sociopath, because she compiled information on a "certified" thief? Cmon, read the links on her blog, ya shes a bit loony but are all the other people crazy? Ooops, sorry, I went against someone on this board who also ripped me off. Geez, My apologies.

Are you the buyer of that 325e?
TeacherBrent
07-12-2008, 11:10 PM
Weeman (Linc?), I'm trying to be the buyer of that 325e, unless you guys can give me some solid reasons not to be; other than Al being late on deliveries. I have read Estey's "blog" and thought that it was kinda overblown. Now, I realize that Al may not be the specimen of pure wholesomeness, but who is? The fact remains that he is selling a decent car, for a decent price and many people on this board will back him up. Am I wrong? (I spoke to him today, he sounded like a very busy person. Having worked for HPA Motorsports, I know how a shop work schedule can take over your life.) I guess more people need to take chill pills

Not what I am implying at all. A car is a car, and I am sure from working at HPA you'd be able to tell whether the eta is legit or not, regardless of the seller. From the pics it looks tight.

I find it hilarous that Mark swore he wasnt coming back and now he is... Esty is psycho. Hell she even hates me and who could hate me? Al is super busy and he does get back to people. It just doesn't always occur immediately.

Don't see why there would be, and it doesn't look like Mark is bitching about it, he got burned by a douchebag that's burned quite a few people.
Like I told you in PM, I wouldn't buy a hamburger off this guy,
TeacherBrent
07-14-2008, 11:31 PM
Why not? I mean a hamburger you can see the dude making it. You can see him puttin' on all the dressin's ya favour. When he hands ya the all beef patty, you hand him the dough. Surely (don't call me Shirley!) nobody can be that devious to screw you on a friggin' hamburger!

Well no offense to anyone, I've never bought a burger off this guy, but I usually pay for a burger when it's in my hand. I'm just tight with my money that way. Closet Jew I guess (again, no offense to any Jewish peoples, just watch too much Jon Stewart)
