This is hands down one of the best E36 M3s I've ever seen.

Sooooooooooo how'd you get the keys out?

I am definitely getting a tripod! Holy crap those are nice shots. Anthony definitely has an eye for this kind of stuff.
Called my roomate to drop off the spare key. Cost me dinner and a bottle of booze. Better than a tow truck driver shoving a jimmy in my door and hacking it up. Too bad the battery died before he got there though, had to boost it. What a day!

LOL, a lot of the pictures look like you're committing some sort of voyeurism. Anyhow, sweet pictures :)

I looked for 6 months for a clean E30 before I had to settle for the E36. Oh well, it will have to do for now...

Anthony did you detail the car before the photoshoot too? That car looks amazing, so clean.

No I didn't detail it. The color is really amazing on this car, one of the best I've seen.

Greate pictures. You are REALLY good with that camera. How do you make the background black & white preserving the car color? Would love to do that with my M5. Do you use photoshop?

There's a couple of way you can do it in Photoshop. The easy way is to open your image and Image-->Mode-->Grayscale, then do Image-->Mode-->RGB. Your image will still look B&W at this point. Grab the History Brush Tool and paint the color back into the areas you want.
The way I do it to separate the car from the background. This way I can adjust the colors of the two images separately. Then paste the car back into the picture.

another Q, what kinda camera do you use?
I'd ask you for a favor and take pictures of my car like that, but my car isn't exactly picture worthy

My camera isn't that great, it's a Canon S230 but I am more than happy to accept donations to the get Anthony a Canon Digital Rebel fund.

If anybody could help me out, I'd appreciate it.
What are the differences between the 94' Euro Spec M3 in Canada, and the NA spec M3 E36?
What is an appropriate price range to pay for such a car in good-very good shape?
Chris

286hp in the Euro model... something like only 46 were brought in.
240hp in the NA model... jokingly referred to as the 330is and 332is because they don't have "real" M3 engines. Trademark throttle bodies etc. It's a stroked 2.5 of the 325 variety I believe.
Also for NA cars, the cut off in 3.0L vs 3.2L is the 1996 model changeover. The 3.0L used OBD1, vs the later OBD2. OBD1 is reputed to be much easier to improve in the aftermarket despite the lack of displacement.
Not sure what other differences there are.

Not to mention the fact that Andrew's car has the Euro LW-style bodykit, very cool.

How'd you get the car into fantasy gardens? Did you have to ask the owners/management?

It was a Sunday or Saturday, there really wasn't anybody there to ask.

Sorry, forgot to answer your question. On the south side of the building we opened the gates, moved a sign and drove in. Piece of cake. :D

You need to find a host for your pictures. You can't post them straight off your computer. Try http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/

That was my car!! Man I miss it! the beautiful pictures made me weep as I realized I had gotten rid of such a gorgeous automobile!! I kick myself.
Your friend just picked it up? man, this means it has traded hands twice more since I sold it. Your buddy is like the 6th owner of this car.
BTW, i am using my friend's account to post as he told me about this thread. I am LEVOC///MPower from DTMpower and Bimmerforums.com

alphacharlie (Kendrick?), it's still me Andrew the same owner. You traded it in at Burrard Honda, right? Anthony just makes it sound like I just got it. It's still a garage queen and pampered like Paris Hilton and on the odd occasion throttled like Paris too. :D

Hi Andrew! yes it's me Kendrick! Man that car is stunning!!
I think you refinished the wheels right??
Last time I saw you/car was like last summer on Pacific Blvd.
How many km did you put on her since you bought it?
car looks great! I am drooling looking.
As for me, I got rid of the S2000 last summer (after a year of ownage). I've been driving my Mazda Protege 5 all this time. But I will get a 2005 325CI next month. I ordered it and it's said to be shipping over to Canada right now.
Here is a small gallery of all the pics I have of the M3 while I had it (along with some misc. pics). Check it out: http://www.fotop.net/kdub/eurom3

Hey Guys... glad to see my car...er...previous car is still in good hands!! I loved that car... its was heartbreaking selling it (had to.... moved to T dot and all). Sweet pics! It looks like you put the original exhaust back on it (and OEM suspension?), but kept the wing...how many km do have on it now?

The exhaust is SuperSprint, not stock but the suspension is original. Right now she is hovering a tad below 60K km. Got a sweet car cover from my friend at BMW to maintain her garage queen status.
I'm guessing you sold the car to Kendrick?

Yeah, I see you put the chrome tips on (or bought it with them on...suspension was H&R coil overs when I had it and it had the supersprint exhaust)...Not sure who bought the car.... I sold the car back to Duncan at The Urban Garage... that's where I bought it originally. He helped locate a buyer for the car... I sold the car at the end of 2001... had it for a year. Bought it with 34k and sold it with just under 40k... if I remember correctly. Did Kendrick put the stock suspension back on the car?

Yes I bought the car from Duncan at The Urban Garage. I went thru the process of transporting the car from Edmonton to Vancouver. When I bought it it was 41k km or so.. When I sold it it was 43k or so.
When I got the car it had an exhaust with DTM tips.. I later swapped it with CG Motorsport for a polished stock exhaust. But weeks later I went back to CG and swapped the stock exhaust for a SuperSprint and it has been on the car since.
I wonder who has the car now because I see an Asian fellow driving it around Vancouver. I really miss that car and regret selling it for a S2000 which I only drove for a year.
