Holy shit is that ever hot! I never would have thought gold wheels would look good on a black car. A little OT but is anyone else getting sick of silver/chrome wheels? I mean every frikin wheel is silver. I'm thinking about painting my centers black. Anyway back on topic, that is one seriously hot M3. What mods have you done to it?

Yeah, I had gold wheels on a black MK2 GTI I had and always dug it, so I had these powdercoated gold recently. The car came with three sets of these wheels, so I had another set done in black (with my Hoosier slicks mounted to them) and they look AWESOME :D
What mods have you done to it?
It's a pretty long list... but here's the highlights... and most was done before I got it...
Suspension:
Whiteline 3-way adjustable sway bars F&R
Ground Control height adjustable coil-overs with Eibach springs, F&R
Adjustable Konis front and rear
Brembo OE rotors
Ferrodo street/track pads
All suspension bushings changed to urethane (adj. LCA bushings)
BMP Camber/caster plates
Sparco adjustable strut tower brace
Engine:
BMP intake with K&N filter
Dinan 2.25" exhaust
AC system (and all brackets) removed
BMP upgraded injectors
BMP carbon/kevlar clutch
BMP aluminum flywheel
Rebuilt and shimmed LSD
Interior:
Removed carpet, seats, rear door panels, and radio
Corbeau FX-1 composite race seats
RaceTech 3" 5pt camlock harnesses
Professionally installed 6pt padded roll cage with halo, and door bars
Two fire extinguishers within easy reach
There is more, but that's what I got receipts for...

Got any pics of the interior? I wouldn't mind seeing your fire extinguisher set up. That's something I really need to do. Is this a track car?

I would also love to see more pics of the cage. I'm thinking of putting one in my car in the future. I guess the rear seats are a right off.

Love that color combo, reminds me of the old JPS scheme.

Only got one pic of the interior right now (see below). It's pretty simple, one extinguisher mounted to the rear section of the cage "halo", within easy reach of my right hand, and another between the seats behind the e-brake.
Is this a track car?
It's mostly double-duty. I take it on the track on a regular basis (I am fortunate enough to live near two private tracks). And I keep it street legal so I can drive it to work if I want, or a weekend cruise ( usually about 2000-3000 miles a year).

The cage I have (AutoPower) does not foul the rear seat so it doesn't HAVE to be removed. But it does make access to the rear seat almost impossible.

Hmmm... Never heard of a JPS model? I had these powder-coated this color. They are the stock E30 M3 wheels. I also have a black set (with Hoosier road race slicks) and a silver set (with my autocross tires).
