well... here it goes. You guys know the story.
I posted this on couple other places. Planning on putting it up on buysell and autotrade in couple more weeks.
Some parts might sound funny to you guys, but that's because i had to write it so that non-E30 nuts can understand it.

As for the prices on the optional prices, most of the stuff there, I want to keep for my upcoming car, so the price is reflected. For others, it will probably become more realistic once the car is sold.

Selling my be-loved E30

1991 318is 2dr 5spd in diamondschwarz (diamond black metallic exterior) & mint black leatherette interior.

- Car comes with original Bill of sales!
- Service records
- ICBC Report
- Car manuals, original brochure and salesperson's name card :D
- I am the 3rd owner, 2nd owner was a friend of the 1st owner, always babied.

- only 175,000 km
- 14" BBS Basketweave (mesh) wheels
- good tires and brakes
- A/C
- Sunroof, PW, PL, PB, PS.
- CD Player w/ BMW Premium Sound System

Bought this car in June, 2004, bone stock and in excellent condition, there were just minor flaws here and there.
Since I purchased the vehicle, I have put in over $5000 in mods and repairs to make the car
exactly the way I wanted the car to be.

Background on the car:

- Purchased on May 30th, 1990 @ Richmond BMW
- Only 1 accident. Happened 4 days after the original owner bought the car from Richmond BMW, 1700 in repairs. (note that brand new parts are expensive, it was a minor accident, and I will give you the contact info of the previous owners to those who are interested & serious).
- Regular maintenance at Richmond BMW
- When the 2nd owner (original owner's friend) purchased the car (I believe in 1997), the car was maintenanced regularly at Acutech in Richmond
- 'Recent' major repairs by the previous owner:
- --Muffler replaced (oem) in July '03
- --head gasket replaced in April '99
- Headgasket is the only known common failure for the E30 318is M42 engines, and has been taken care of, and documented. The motor is bulletproof, runs excellent, and is very low-maintenance.
Utilizes timing chain so no more fear of belt snapping.

After I gained ownership...:

- After CG Motorsports did an extensive inspection, only thing that needed to be replaced were tie rods, control arm bushings, and new thermostat. Power steering hoses were leaking slowly, but they told me that it's not an issue, and not to worry about it.
- Full Tuneup (oil, oil filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, air filter), Brand new oem tie rods & alignment @ CG Motorsports (June '04 - $839.02)
- Control arm bushings upgraded to M3 offset oem bushings
- Thermostat replaced (oem)
- Front-lip spoiler was scuffed, so it was re-painted diamondschwarz (factory color).
- Fog blank insert was missing, new one installed.
- Re-built shifter linkage with all OEM parts.
- Crack on instrument cluster fixed
- Recently serviced at Scan Automotive

- The car is ready to be picked up by the new owner and be driven without any repairs or tuneups!

Modifications:

- EXTREMELY RARE!!! - BMW factory M-tech IS sideskirts !
- Window tinted 40% all the way around (very subtle)
- CompuStar Alarm professionally installed
- Clarion MP3 CD player (Matches the BMW interior perfectly w/ red illumination). System fully rewired, sounds very good.
- Polished aluminum gauge bezel (much like the E36 & E46 gauges)

OPTIONAL:
- European bumper trim (+$150)
- Racing Dynamics Rear bumper apron (+$300)
- Gamgemi front lip mounted splitter (+$150)
- rear stress bar (+$100)
- BMW Z4 3.0L short shifter conversion (+$100)
- H&R Sports springs / Bilstein Sports shocks (+$200 for springs, +$600 for shocks)
- European grill (+$85)
- European H1 Projector headlights (+$350)
- Euro clear turn signals (+$40)
- Schering custom E30 leather shifter/ebrake boots (+$55)
- BMW aluminum pedals w/ rubber inserts (+$60)

REASON FOR SELLING: I am buying a E30 M3

Price is set at $8990, or reasonable offers. This car is an excellent daily driver, potential for a track car, or an all-around excellent car for an enthusiasts like myself.
You will not find any other car in town in such great condition, extensive history records, and low mileage.

well, I have couple people coming to look at the car.

I almost hope that they don't buy it.

I don't know whether if selling the car is self-discipline, or quite the opposite of that...
