i read somewhere before or remember someone talking about a way to adjust the rear gate if it's squeaking. Anyone have any info? Everytime I go over a bump, the rear latch makes a squeaking noise. It's pretty annoying.

im not sure what your talking about but almost everything is adjustable that squeeks so look arround for the bolts for it and give them a tightening or adjustment.

The latch at the bottom of the gate is threaded and can be adjusted in two minutes with a couple of wrenches. Adjust it so that the tailgate requires a bit of force to close. Did the trick for me. Also, I think BMW recommends occasionally treating the gasket with glycerine to reduce friction when the gate is closed.
