Nice, I love it! Where did you pick it up? I recall seeing that interior somewhere.

You've definitely got something special there. That is not a stock 318 interior it looks like a Sport EVO interior. Talk to VtwinVince, he's done quite a bit of modding on his 318is.

You're right with that one, i posted the pics on bimmerforums.com and they suggested that as well, so i had an idea...
i had an old top gear video, "history of the m" it shows the guy rippin around in a sports evo, and it shows the interior... the car he was driving had race type seats, however, in the backseat you can see its the same as mine!!
man do i feel special!!

That's a cool interior but I don't think it's sport evo. I think they had different front seats. From what I can see it looks like a late model m-technic interior. Do any interior pieces have leather trim? What does the back seat look like?

I think you're right, there's a blue E30 318ic in my garage with the same interior.

The car doors and seats have leather trim, and the back seats look exactly the same... as that pic pretty much...

Definitely a very unusual interior, and probably done by the previous owner, since there is no Mtech kit on the car, and I don't think that interior was ever offered as an option by the factory. Very nice car, and a prime target for some serious modding.

It could be stock interior, as I said before there's a 100% stock 318ic in my garage with that interior. This car is in brand new condition, the lady that owns it has had it since new and only drives it on nice days. It has VERY low kms and every nut and bolt still looks like new. Actually it's the cleanest E30 I've seen but it's an ugly metallic blue with matching baskets with a polished lip. I've seen these cars in metallic green too with the same matching baskets.

That's interesting. It’s almost like a dumbed down M-Technic.
There was the full on version with the cool interior, leather centre console, suspension, body kit, and rims. There was a second version with just the body kit, body coloured interior and panels, and body coloured centre rims and a matching hard top. I have seen a couple of the 'moby dick' all white versions in Vancouver, but I have never seen a full on M-Technic with everything including the interior.
I bet these things are factory and are just a special option package that was offered.
Either way, that interior rocks, I think it looks great.
