Where can I get BMW paint codes?

I need to supply the paint code for nogaro silver and for the original basketweave silver to Panther.

As an aside, can anyone provide some insight on polishing the lip on a basketweave? Has anyone seen it done? How did it look? Panther suggested this as an option instead of repainting the lip in the standard silver colour.

Thanks :)

Edit: I found out that code #243 = Nogarosilber

since its already smooth you just need to get the paint off with a paint remover of some sort, then mask the lip get everything else painted and polish it up with a good aluminum polish. then get the whole thing clear coated so you dont have to keep polishing there is also a guy you can go to called mr. buffet or somthing like that and he will polish the lip for youl

There's a car in my garage with basketweaves with a polished lip from the factory. It looks pretty good but the wheels are BLUE to match the body colour :bigcry: I'll snap some pics if you want to see it. It also has Mtech cloth interior.

I'll snap a pic some time this weekend, I'm going for cocktails afterwork and will probably pull a full shift, in other words I'll be way to wrecked to operate a camera :buttrock:

Here's my neighbors E30, I was wrong about the mtech interior but it is different than the norm.

Wow! Thanks for taking those pictures.

It’s hard to compare that polished lip/blue to the polished lip/nogaro concept. The blue is really bright and I can’t determine whether that’s the blue itself or the polished lip making it appear brighter. Once thing I don’t like is how wheel weights look on a polished lip, although I can’t say they look any better on a painted lip. Hmmm…

That interior is interesting. Do you think it’s factory? I have never seen blue piping on the seat seams before.

You don't have to have wheel weights on the outer rim, you can use the stick on kind and put it on the inside. Yes that interior is factory, the whole car is 100% stock, untouched and and has crazy low kms. I don't think it's ever seen rain, it's used maybe 1-2 times a week for maybe 6 months a year if that. It is an interesting looking E30, but NOT my taste...
