licence plate light Q

Guys,

has anyone ever experienced a situation where the OBC shows that the rear licence light is out but in actual fact they are on? Could it be that my german translation is wrong and that is a light for something else? It is the light on the bottom left of the OBC in the touring. Rear fogs on the same line in the harness??( no I don't have rear fogs....)

did you recently replace the bulb? because if you dont put the OEM bulb in it can set of the light...

If the bulbs are working try cleaning the connections both where the wiring harness attaches to the rear taillight assemby as well as where the bulb plugs in. BMW light sensors are notorious for having poor connections and giving false readings.
