Engine rebuild on 1980 633 CSi - need manual and parts source

Hi guys. I just bought a 1980 633 CSi about two months ago. It was running great and I was lovin' it. Then one day on the way to work something went wrong! So far all I can suffice is that engine oil stopped flowing properly through the engine and stuff was just banging around like crazy. I've parked the car and my father-in-law and myself are proceeding to remove the engine to further diagnose the problem. I was just wondering if any of you could tell me which is the best shop manual for the car and where is the best place to get one. Also I live on Vancouver Island and I was wondering if anyone knows of any good parts sources here on the Island, or even on the west coast.
I'm would appreciate any and all help in regards to overhauling the E24 engine. Thanks for reading and God Bless.

Bentley Publisher http://www.bentleypublishers.com/product.htm?code=b588

They will the engine rebuild instructions. however you still have to source the parts like gaskets which might be hard.

Ya, my suggestion might be a little lame. But a cheap low km replacement might be a good option is all.

yes sir, all m30b32's are the same. Ive pulled the really pricey injectors off a 7 series for my 5er. Could be a great time for a b35 swap though. 27hp, 30ftlbs of torque more, and its relatively easy. http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?t=60306, i wouldnt consider this swap unless my 3.2 died. Im happy with the output of it.

For the island it's

Bimmer Parts Northwest
2839 Roberts Rd
Duncan BC, V9L 6W3

The are a BMW specific recycler and have decent prices and a very good selection. Try calling Dave today, and if not definitely tomorrow @ 1-888-309-8899 and tell him Eugene sent you.

Any Bentley manual with a M30 model will apply to you, as the only thing significant that has changed in 25 years of production was the induction/fuel/ignition management system. The internal mechanics are the same.

What a great motor.........
Good luck.
