My 2002 (1974) I need some help

Hi guys, I need your help. There is this one time I read that someone has an archive of bentley manual. My 2002 has a few issues that need to be fixed and they are as follows:

1) Turn signal lights (left and right) are dead
2) There is this chirping noise when it rolls and the frequencys seems to go faster as I go faster
3) Speedometer and odometer are dead
4) Wipers: apparently the wipers don't go off. The switch has been replaced but it doesn't seem to be the solution.

I really appreciate it if anyone can lend me a repair manual and/or point me to the right direction in fixing any of them. Thank you so much

Phil

Hi,

There is no Bently for the 2002. I also have a 74' 02,

Turn Signals, if both died at the same time, chck fuse, then bulbs, then ground wires.

Where is the chirping noise coming from? I get quite a bit of chirping when I dump the clutch at high RPM but I'm pretty sure i's the tires Check the lug nuts, front wheel bearings are pretty easy to replace and not to expensive.

Wipers, try replacing the relay (located under the dash to the left of the steering column) I did the delay wiper upgrade in my '02. Get a windshield wiper arm from an early 320 and the relay and directly swap those two parts with what is on the car already.

Also, Join the BMW 2002 group of BC email list, lots of awesome 2002 heads there, with two hundred years of experience. http://www.zeebuck.com/02bc/

Oh, the speedo is probably a broken cable, easy enough to replace, look on the 2002 FAQ - http://www.bmw2002faq.com/ - I replaced my cable, only to have my speedo break right after. I now have a Euro (Kilometer) Speedometer in there, make sure you buy new bulbsfor behind the instrument cluster while your in there, also run an extra ground strap to lessen the "jumping" gauges while your signals are on.

Hi fellow 2002 owners, does anyone know where in lower mainland I can find gaskets and air filter for weber carbs? Mine seems to be leaky. Thank you so much.
